Marc Plana and Daniel Pérez participate in the 7th CINCOMA Congress

Professors from the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication, Marc Plana and Daniel Pérez, are participating in the 7th International Congress on Innovation in Communication and Audiovisual Media (CINCOMA), held from 23 to 25 September 2026 in Salamanca. The congress brings together researchers, educators and professionals from the fields of communication and audiovisual media.

As part of the congress, both professors are participating in the discussion panel “Seriefilia and Episodic Fiction: ‘I am the one who knocks’. Narratives, Emotions and Transcendence”, where they are presenting the paper “A Critique of Kantian Morality in Contemporary Serial Fiction: Otherness, Affect and Empathy in Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and Pluribus.”

The 7th CINCOMA Congress serves as a meeting point for the exchange of knowledge on innovation in communication and audiovisual media, bringing together different panels and discussion sessions featuring researchers from a range of fields and backgrounds.

Marc Plana and Daniel Pérez’s participation forms part of the research activity carried out by the teaching staff at the ERAM University School and contributes to bringing reflections on the new narrative, emotional and cultural forms of contemporary fiction into the academic sphere.
