Our goal is for the freedom to experiment to be the foundation of their work.
ERAM is a university community that fosters co-creation and the development of joint projects among students and professors from all the artistic degrees offered.
It is the hub in Girona where people with diverse artistic interests and talents come together, fostering professional relationships where the exchange of ideas and collaboration are at its core.
We work to provide the tools and spaces for each student to surpass themselves. That’s why we seek the highest quality in education and teaching, both from the faculty and the students.
We aim to be a leading source of artistic research and production. We welcome those students and professionals with aspirations and projects who find in ERAM a community that inspires and trains them to achieve their goals.
We raise awareness and educate students about their current and future roles in society as professionals in the artistic sector. Sensitization to current social issues and their capacity to impact them is integrated into the academic training of the students.
They are prepared to be professionals with awareness and the tools to contribute to the evolution of the world around us towards a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable society.
As students and future professionals, we provide an education that is built on the principles of responsibility, integrity, transparency, and respect in their artistic and professional practice.
We hope that the professionals who graduate from ERAM are valued and recognized for these ethical values.
At ERAM, we are aware that we are preparing and training the next generation of professionals in the international artistic sector. We aim to instill in them the awareness that they are individuals with a voice and the capacity to impact how society behaves towards the environment in which we live.
That’s why, from day one, we aim to educate individuals with a very clear idea: Create without destroying. Therefore, sustainability is addressed across all our degree programs, incorporating sustainable practices into our academic and artistic activities.
ERAM opens its doors and invites anyone with artistic aspirations to join the community. We firmly believe that the diversity of individuals and perspectives enriches us as a university.
We work to eliminate barriers and ensure access and participation for all students, regardless of their ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, or socio-economic conditions.
We create a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where every voice is heard and valued.
ERAM is a space where cultural, linguistic, and artistic diversity is celebrated and respected. We believe that the intercultural dialogue that arises from this diversity is beneficial for the students’ development and a key element for mutual understanding within the community.
We hope that in the future, this culture of diversity will be applied by the students in their professional field.
We encourage students to explore the reality beyond their daily surroundings, to break down barriers, and open their minds. At ERAM, we offer various paths to engage with the international sphere: Erasmus, Sicue, and international internships.
Throughout the academic year, students can also interact with students who come to study from different parts of the world. The goal is to create a dynamic and diverse environment that helps students develop as professionals and as critical and socially conscious individuals in their surroundings.
ERAM’s goal is to create transmedia professionals with the ability and entrepreneurial spirit.
Within the training provided in every degree, the necessary skills and knowledge are included to develop one’s own projects and initiatives.
