After being the first generation to have studied Audiovisual and Multimedia at ERAM University and apart from having taken great friends in the race, created an advertising company with 2 partners, after 3 years decides to go to the UK to try to work as an Animator. A few months later he began to work in the world of video games until he jumped to the movies, working at Framestore for almost 4 years. In 2010 he goes to Sydney to work in the George Miller Studio director of Mad Max or Happy feet 2 among others.
Jordi has worked in the area of animation designing characters in different internationally successful films like The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, the Hobbit: An unexpected journey, Ted 2 among others. He has been awarded the Golden Compass won the Oscar and Bafta for best VFX apart from working on Weta making Man of Steel and the Hobbit.
Jordi recommends to everyone what they want to dedicate to what is dedicated that they have a lot of patience because in the beginning it is difficult, but with passion and perseverance everything can be. “Work very hard day and night, to achieve your goals in the short and long term.”
He has recently worked on the animation of the Batman character for the new LEGO movie, which was released in 2017.
