Graduated in Performing Arts and Acting from ERAM University of arts – UdG, Aitana López Ropero is an actress, creator, and pianist. Her artistic career combines performing arts, movement, and audiovisual creation, developing a sensitive approach to contemporary languages and collective artistic work.
In 2018, she began her piano studies through the ABRSM examinations of the Royal Academy of Music in London, and she has currently achieved Grade 4. At the same time, in 2019, she entered the audiovisual and film industry, participating in special extra roles and advertising projects. Among these works are her participation as a dancer in the Yamaha MT-09 campaign (2023) and as lighting double for actress Carla Campra in the Netflix series Feria (2021).
Since joining ERAM in 2020, she has worked under the direction of creators such as Xicu Masó, Jordi Duran, Melina Pereyra, and Maria García Vera, expanding her stage experience both in acting and contemporary creation processes. She has also participated in theatrical productions such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, performed outdoors in Cornellà del Terri.
She is co-founder of the company Les Espectadoras, with which she created Tribute to Rats, her first stage production. The play portrays the relationship between two elderly women marginalized by society and sheltered within a decadent, tender, and poetic universe, reflecting on loneliness, survival, and the need to continue celebrating life even amidst precariousness. The project has been presented in different contemporary creation spaces and was recently published as a book by Ediciones Mutis.
At the same time, she has also developed experience in cultural management through her internship at Vigem, Viladecans Qualitat, where she worked in programming support and cultural coordination, gaining insight into the inner workings and collaborative dynamics of theatre spaces.
She is currently involved in theatre and audiovisual projects, exploring new forms of creation between stage, music, and image.
