Visit from Huanggang Normal University to ERAM–University of Girona

On Tuesday, 7 April, ERAM–University of Girona welcomed a delegation of eight representatives from Huanggang Normal University with a dual purpose. On the one hand, they inaugurated an exhibition at ERAM featuring 62 posters under the theme Women, exploring the role and representation of women in China from the past to the modern era. On the other hand, the two institutions formalised their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Àligues building of the University of Girona.

Huanggang Normal University is a public institution located in the city of Huanggang, in Hubei Province, China. It specialises in teacher education and offers programmes in fields such as the humanities, sciences, education, economics, and the arts. The university stands out for its international outlook and maintains collaborative agreements with higher education institutions around the world. Furthermore, it promotes academic exchange programmes and joint projects aimed at fostering the mobility of both students and faculty.

Collaboration with Huanggang Normal University can make a significant contribution to the internationalisation of ERAM through the establishment of academic agreements, student mobility initiatives, and the organisation of joint summer courses. These agreements may enhance the exchange of students and faculty, support the development of shared academic projects, and encourage cultural exchange. In addition, international summer courses can attract students from diverse countries, enrich the educational experience, and strengthen the global profile of both institutions.
