The Erasmus Experience at the University of Porto: An Opportunity to Grow Inside and Outside the Classroom

Núria Soler and Laia Manau, fourth-year students in the Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication at ERAM, recently completed an Erasmus+ mobility at the Escola Superior Artística do Porto (Portugal).

During their stay, they had the opportunity to experience a different educational model, work in an international environment, and share their daily lives with students from around the world.

The experience allowed them to broaden their perspectives, discover new ways of working, and enrich both their academic and personal development, gaining skills and experiences that extend far beyond the classroom.

These international mobility opportunities reflect ERAM’s commitment to internationalisation and the global education of its students. Through the Erasmus+ programme, the school offers students the opportunity to complete part of their studies at European universities, enabling them to expand their knowledge, explore different academic environments, and prepare for careers in an increasingly international context.

Núria and Laia’s experience is a clear example of the values promoted by the Erasmus+ programme: learning through diversity, stepping outside one’s comfort zone, and discovering new ways of living, creating, and understanding the world.
