The ERAM University School of the Arts and the Dalí Foundation launch a photography workshop at Gala Dalí Castle in Púbol
Gala Dalí Castle in Púbol to Host a Contemporary Photography Workshop.
The Gala Dalí Castle in Púbol will host a three-day educational experience dedicated to contemporary photography.
Organised by the ERAM University School of the Arts in collaboration with the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation, this immersive workshop offers an exploration of author photography, conceptual portraiture and visual storytelling, drawing inspiration from the creative universe of Gala and Salvador Dalí.
The workshop will take place on 17, 18 and 19 September, offering participants an immersive journey into the artistic, symbolic and poetic world of Gala and Dalí. Sessions will be held at Gala Dalí Castle in Púbol, the medieval residence that Salvador Dalí restored and gifted to Gala, transforming it into a deeply personal and meaningful space.
The programme combines theoretical sessions with practical photographic work and image editing. Throughout the workshop, participants will explore themes such as identity, the body and representation, engaging with the castle’s architecture, natural light and rich historical memory.
The workshop covers a range of photographic disciplines, including environmental photography, conceptual photography, author photography, fashion photography and portraiture, encouraging participants to develop their own visual narratives. Beyond technical skills, the programme aims to foster a distinctive creative vision while exploring the relationship between artistic practice, cultural heritage and the surrounding landscape.
The works created during the workshop will be exhibited at Sant Pere Church in Púbol on 19 September.
The initiative builds on ERAM’s long-standing commitment to artistic and audiovisual education. With more than two decades of experience, the ERAM University School of the Arts continues to promote intensive creative photography workshops that bring together emerging photographers in immersive learning experiences.
The workshop’s teaching team includes ERAM faculty members Steph Watson, Mireia Tor, David Salcedo and Alba Yruela, alongside other professionals.
