Carolina Martínez participates in the “Annual Conference” of the Metropolitan University of Budapest

Dr. Carolina Martínez, professor of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication and the Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts at the ERAM School of Arts – University of Girona (UdG), will participate as a keynote speaker with the presentation titled “ON DEGRADATION. ENVIRONMENT, BODIES AND EXPERIMENTAL FILMMAKING” at the Annual Conference of the Metropolitan University of Budapest. This year, the conference is dedicated to Art and Ecology and will be held at the French Institute in the city on the upcoming 13th and 14th of September.

The annual conference aims to explore the complex relationship between ecology and the arts. This exploration also seeks to broaden the dialogue, as the main objective is to seek alternatives that can nuance the predominantly apocalyptic tone of contemporary ecodiscourses.
