Graduated in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia at the School of Arts ERAM – UdG, Júlia Aleu develops her professional career in audiovisual production, executive and art direction, and cultural project management. Her practice focuses on coordinating film, television, and music productions, combining planning, team management, and support throughout creative processes.
She begins her career participating in audiovisual productions across different formats, gaining experience in production departments and technical film crews. During this stage, she collaborates with production companies and projects linked to major platforms, taking part in productions such as Crims (3Cat) and Luz en la oscuridad (Movistar+), produced by Goroka, as well as film and audiovisual projects developed by companies such as Lastor Media and Prime Video. This experience provides her with a comprehensive understanding of the processes of creation, production, and execution within the audiovisual industry.
She later specializes in music production and music video coordination, taking on production leadership roles for some of the most prominent artists in the contemporary Catalan music scene.
Her work includes productions for 31 FAM, Figaflawas, Maria Jaume, and Stay Homas, leading shooting crews and managing audiovisual projects from development through to final execution. Her work in this field has established her as a professional connected to new audiovisual languages and the emerging music industry.
Beyond audiovisual production, she develops her own cultural projects aimed at supporting new creators. In 2024, she launches and directs the first edition of the Niu Festival, an interdisciplinary project dedicated to promoting emerging young artists in Catalonia. Initially conceived as her final degree project, the festival aims to create a meeting space between diverse artistic disciplines, bringing together visual, performing, plastic, and digital arts, and establishing itself as a platform for emerging voices in the contemporary cultural scene.
She currently combines audiovisual production with cultural and artistic project direction, developing initiatives that connect cinema, music, and emerging creation, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of new cultural dissemination spaces.
