After graduating in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia from ERAM University School – UdG, Iris Medina Coll began building her career in the audiovisual industry, specializing in video editing and post-production, a field where she found both her creative and professional voice.
Over the years, she has developed projects that combine artistic sensitivity with strong visual storytelling, working across music pieces, cinematic productions, and stage-related projects. She currently works at the audiovisual production company White Horse, known for productions such as the acclaimed Gallery Sessions, where she works as a video editor. Among her most notable works is the editing of Lia Kali – Cantaré | Gallery Session, a piece that reflects her intimate and emotional approach to visual storytelling within the music scene.
Alongside her professional work, Iris has also developed personal projects as both director and editor. She is the creator of short films such as GOTAS and EL ÚLTIMO SUSPIRO, emotionally driven pieces that explore themes like death, grief, and human suffering through a poetic and visually delicate perspective. Her storytelling style stands out for its sensitivity, introspection, and emotional depth.
She has also collaborated on several cultural and artistic projects, including the series Inexperts, directed by Miquel Gomila, as well as music videos for the artist TUCCI. In the field of photography, she worked with the theatre company Niñas de Papá, creating character photography for the play Coses a fer perquè m’escoltin: despullar-me, morir.
Beyond her professional career, Iris is also part of the artistic project Malánima, an initiative born from the need to express and share creative concerns from a deeply personal perspective.
With a visual language defined by emotional sensitivity and narrative strength, Iris Medina continues to shape her own audiovisual universe, where editing, music, and imagery merge to create pieces filled with identity, emotion, and authenticity.
