A graduate in Performing Arts from ERAM University School of the Arts – University of Girona – UdG, Aina Cots i Fargas has built her professional career across acting, dance, and performing arts education. From an early age, she trained in classical ballet and later expanded her studies to include urban dance, musical jazz, and contemporary dance, disciplines she continues to refine today. Alongside her artistic training, she has also studied singing, Spanish diction, and the English language.
Her career combines stage performance with audiovisual work. As an actress and dancer, she has participated in film, television, and musical productions, working as both an extra and featured extra in projects such as the film Terra de Telers and the television series Hache and Feria.
In theatre, she has appeared in productions such as La Santa Espina by Àngel Guimerà, premiered during the Guimerà Year celebrations at the Manresa Conservatory Theatre, where she portrayed the character of Maria. She has also been part of stage productions such as Jo de Navarcles… tu de Sant Fruitós, presented at the Febrada Festival in Navarcles, as well as several performances associated with the Fira de l’Aixada of Manresa, where she played the character of Agnès before audiences of thousands.
Her artistic experience also extends to the audiovisual sector, with appearances in productions such as El Caso Ángelus. La fascinación de Dalí (2024) and Unlimited Power (2025), further consolidating an increasingly diverse career spanning both stage and screen.
Alongside her work as a performer, she maintains an active teaching career. She is a dance teacher at Julieta Soler School and a theatre instructor at the Kursaal Theatre School, the Lluís de Peguera High School, and in various municipal projects, community centres, and schools. As a choreographer, she has directed the dance ensemble for productions such as Vaig cap al bosc, an intergenerational project premiered at the Kursaal Theatre in Manresa.
Her career is distinguished by remarkable artistic versatility, combining acting, dance, teaching, and stage creation, driven by a strong commitment to bringing the performing arts closer to new audiences and generations.
