L’ERAM collaborates with “Insectotròpics” at Les Festes de la Mercè 2025
Jordi Duran, ERAM lecturer and curator of the project, together with alumni from the ERAM University School of Arts, Aurora Kause (production and acting), Balaram Figueredo Falgàs, Júlia Isern, and Àlex Manzanares (acting), participate in the work “El batec de la memòria”, presented by the performing arts company Insectotròpics as part of the 2025 Barcelona Mercè Festival.

This production is a traveling multimedia performance, born from the need to reconnect with calm, living heritage, and the emotional landscapes of our daily lives. It is a way of representing a collective impulse that, across generations, reminds us of where we come from and where we are going.
The show offers a sensory, dreamlike, and visual journey that reminds us that we are part of a whole which is moving at its own pace. Shapes, shadows, and music act as channels to awaken memory, inviting the audience to feel the city from within and experience urban life in a more harmonious and natural way.
The continuous presence of ERAM faculty and alumni in first-rate productions like this, which combine scenic creation, production, and multimedia arts, is a clear indicator of the high employment rate and immediate professional projection achieved by graduates of our Degree in Performing Arts – Acting. The comprehensive training received by our students enables them to successfully integrate into complex and innovative projects within the cultural sector.
