UX Designer and Developer of the school’s digital applications.
Responsible for the infrastructure and IT systems of ERAM.
His early career in higher education began at the Fundació UdG: Innovació i Formació, where he served as:
Director of the Diploma of Specialization in Graphic Design.
Lecturer in the Diploma in Graphic Design (Adobe Illustrator / InDesign).
Lecturer in the Diploma in Web Development.
Lecturer in the Specialization Course in Community Management.
Before that, he worked in several companies in the audiovisual and design sectors.
Graduate in Audiovisual and Multimedia Production from ERAM University School (a degree awarded by the University of Girona), later validated as the Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication (GCAM/DACM), with a specialization in interactive design and digital application development.
He holds an MA in Design – Master’s in Design, specialization in Interactive Design from Lincoln University (UK).
He is currently Coordinator of the Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication (GCAM/DACM) and Associate Professor at ERAM University School, where he is also a member of the Playful Living Lab, the school’s interaction design laboratory.
His research focuses on four main areas:
The use of technologies in higher education and gamification in teaching methodologies.
User Experience (UX) in digital platforms.
Technologies for digital application development.
The use of technology for sustainability.
He began his doctoral studies at Northampton University and the University of Girona, in the field of Education. Since 2024, he has been a PhD candidate in Technology at the University of Girona, in the area of Sustainable HCI, with the project: Designing interactive technologies that empower us to transition to holistically sustainable lifestyles in a meaningful and joyful way.
Jordi Márquez Puig is a designer and researcher in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). His research focuses on how the design of interactive technologies can support the transition towards sustainable lifestyles in a meaningful and joyful way, with a special emphasis on user experience and the transformative role of technology in education and everyday life.
In general, his research explores the applied, theoretical, and methodological dimensions of interaction design and digital technologies, with a particular interest in gamification, user-centered design, and the use of technology for sustainability.
