First Edition of Viewport 3D
Last Tuesday, January 27, the first edition of Viewport 3D took place at the Ateneu de Salt, an exhibition showcasing the final projects of the 3D II course, taught by Professor Sergio Cuervo as part of the Audiovisual Communication degree.
The event brought together a total of 10 animations, some created in groups and others individually, all sharing a common goal: to convey a message and inspire reflection. Among the themes presented were pollution, housing, safety, and memory, all approached from creative and personal perspectives.
The exhibition was attended by around 45 people, who had the opportunity to vote for the three animations that impacted them the most. From this vote emerged the winning pieces of the first edition of Viewport 3D:
- No soc una joguina ( I Am Not a Toy) – Júlia Alum and Ana Sosa

An animation created with a sensitive and delicate approach that exposes a harsh reality such as sexual assault.
- Els tres pobres porquets (The Three Poor Little Pigs) – Núria Hidalgo and Oriol Vilaseca

A reinterpretation of the classic tale of the three little pigs that highlights a very current issue: the housing crisis.
- La Costa Gelada (The Frozen Coast) – Jordi Duran and Júlia Llovera

A project that shows the effects of climate change through the story of a small penguin and its environment.
Although these three animations received awards, the entire collection of works stands out for its artistic and conceptual quality, as well as for the effort and dedication of both the students and the teaching staff who mentored them.
Spaces like Viewport 3D are especially valued by students, as they serve as a source of motivation and provide an opportunity to showcase and recognize their efforts beyond the classroom.
