ERAM Presents: XYZ 2026 at El Modern de Girona

The exhibition we are presenting this year at El Modern, Audiovisual and Digital Center, is the work of the fourth-year students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia.
These are projects resulting from intensive work carried out together with a teaching team over four months. They are high-quality projects, showcasing all the disciplines we work on in the degree: film, photography, graphic design, interactive design, 3D, and visual effects. The new Audiovisual and Digital Center of Girona, El Modern, is the ideal setting for presenting these works, some of which may later have a life in festivals and presentations.

- Falling Man | Short film |
Fred, an unhappy window cleaner in a large building in the heart of a big city who has a crush on a businesswoman, dreams of the life he sees through those windows, but an unexpected chain of events will divert the course of his normal life forever.
- Dilema | 3D Design and Modeling |
The project involves creating characters for a potential transmedia and 3D animation project of a humorous nature with a social critique background, where the narrative is based on the conflict of the protagonists representing the politicization and exaggeration of certain types of people present in our society.
- MIMESI | Short film |
A short film where nothing is as it seems. A group of young people, Sarah, Guille, and Nil, find themselves trapped within the four walls of a police station, forced to justify the reason for their detention. As tension rises, key questions emerge: How did the police find them? Why does it seem someone knows more than they should? And where are the missing companions? Amid uncomfortable silences and suspicious glances, the group begins to suspect that not everyone is who they claim to be.

ZIIP is a social communication agency that takes excess as a conceptual axis to analyze contemporary issues that especially affect young people. The project is based on the idea that we live surrounded by too many stimuli, too much information, and too much pressure, which directly impacts well-being, decision-making, and quality of life.
- AKO | Short film |
In the 1980s, on a winter night, two sisters, Anna and Aina, meet in their living room playing the famous Game of the Goose.
What seems to start as an innocent game ends up revealing the reality of the sisters’ relationship and awakening a dark force that connects them with what lies beyond the board. Between the innocence of the game and the latent horror of the unknown, AKO is a domestic thriller about control, manipulation, and the repetition of family roles; a game that, once it starts, cannot be abandoned.

En un intento de conectar con su padre, Faith va de caza con él. Esta excursión por el bosque toma un giro siniestro cuando Faith le revela que está atrapada en un bucle temporal. Abel, su padre, no le cree al principio, y su incredulidad aumenta cuando ella le explica que al final del bucle él la mata. Poco a poco, Faith desvela información que no debería saber: que Abel pensaba pedirle dinero, que había ido a ver su nueva exposición de arte y que se había enterado del éxito que tiene.
- Lighthouse workshops | Transmedia |
Lighthouse is a community created for ERAM students to both lead and attend workshops in order to enrich their training and expand the same skills. The project is based on peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and promotes a horizontal learning model that avoids unnecessary hierarchies and encourages more open, close, and accessible participation. This structure allows each person to contribute what they excel at while also exploring new areas in a safe and collaborative environment.
