During her degree in Performing Arts at ERAM University School of the Arts – UdG, Melanie Bermúdez began shaping her artistic universe through music, performance, and audiovisual creation. From a young age, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in music, but it was not until October 2023 that she took the decisive step by releasing her first single, thus beginning her professional journey in the music industry.
Her artistic project, under the name M3L, is characterized by a fusion of pop with electronic influences and other genres, adapting to the expressive needs of each piece while allowing space for free and constantly evolving creativity. Her compositions stem from a personal and emotional perspective, building a sonic narrative that blends sensitivity with strong stage presence.
As part of her final degree project, she presented “Mamá, papá, querido público, mi nombre es Melanie Bermúdez y quiero ser cantante”, a hybrid proposal between a concert and an audiovisual piece that explores the creative process behind her songs. This project offers an immersive experience that combines live music with visual storytelling, tracing a journey through her dreams, concerns, and challenges within the artistic world
She has had the opportunity to perform her music on various stages, with notable appearances at events such as the WeNow Festival in Madrid in 2023 and the Festa Major of Salt in 2024, where she performed as an opening act for Julieta. These experiences have allowed her to connect with audiences and strengthen her stage presence.
Currently, Melanie Bermúdez is immersed in the development of her musical project, consolidating her artistic identity and expanding her repertoire with new proposals. Her career reflects a constant evolution, with a clear commitment to a versatile and contemporary style.
With a proposal that integrates music, image, and staging, Melanie aims to convey a unique and authentic identity, turning each creation into a distinctive piece that connects with the audience’s emotions and life experiences.
