he Josep Torrellas Program is an initiative by the University of Girona (UdG) designed to promote continuing university education for people over the age of 50. This program allows participants to enroll in subjects included in the university degrees at the University School of Arts ERAM, without the need to follow a full academic curriculum or seek an official degree. The only admission requirement is to be 50 years old or older, and no prior qualification is needed.
Students can create a personalized educational path by choosing subjects of interest, sharing learning spaces with undergraduate students, and accessing university services as enrolled students. The program is framed within the concept of lifelong learning, fostering the personal, social, and cultural development of seniors and reinforcing their active participation in the university environment.
