A project by the company Las Espectadoras (Aitana López and Aina Minguell)
Tribute to Rats is a piece born from a social and generational context that puts issues about the female body on everyone’s lips. It is also a tribute to all the people who at some point have identified with this animal and, therefore, have been excluded from the social context.
A stage duet starring Aina Minguell and Aitana López, who come to life as the characters Dolores and Angustia, two grandmothers, who could perfectly be their possible future fictional grandmothers, in an absurd universe that hints at the real world. Two evicted grandmothers living inside two garbage bins decide to celebrate their last birthday at a fast-food restaurant.
