Pau Miró Caparrós

He imparts the course of Theatrical Dramaturgy together with Josep Maria Miró and Alfredo Sanzol.

Actor, playwright and director. Degree in Interpretation from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona (1998). He has formed as a playwright in different seminars of the Sala Beckett taught by Carles Batlle, Sergi Belbel, Xavier Albertí, José Sanchis Sinisterra and Javier Daulte, among others. In the field of dramaturgy and direction, one of his last works is Terra Baixa interpreted by Lluís Homar, premiered the set of November in the Festival Temporada Alta.

Also Dones com jo premiered in January 2014 in the Romea Theatre; Adiós a la infancia dramaturgy from the main novels of Juan Marse, directed by Oriol Broggi, premiered in December 2013 to the Teatre Lliure de Gràcia; Els Jugadors author and director, premiere at the Festival Temporada Alta de Girona, in November 2011, and later premiere at the Teatre Lliure de Gràcia in April 2012. The text has won the Butaca Award for the best text 2012 and has been translated into Italian, English, Greek, and Spanish. Els Jugadors have also been premiered with great success of critic and audience at the Teatro Piccolo in Milan in January 2013 and has won the prestigious Ubú Award as Best foreign text.

During the season 2008-2009 premiere of The animal trilogy as author and director, receives the Prize of the Theatrical Critique of Barcelona to the best text.

In 2004 premieres Plou a Barcelona under the direction of Toni Casares in Sala Beckett. The text has been translated into nine languages with various assemblies all over the world, Italy, Portugal, England, Canada...

In his last work as director and author, Victória, was released in the big room of the TNC in May 2016.
