Ana Aitana Fernández Moreno

Ana Aitana Fernández has a Degree in Journalism from the University of Murcia, and a Master's degree in Contemporary Film and Audiovisual Studies from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where she has worked as a teacher in the Degree in Audiovisual Communication from 2014 to 2018 to Finish his doctoral thesis titled The scar of absence. An intimate atlas of film memory from the image-object. In 2017 she made a research stay at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa where she gave a seminar on the figure of the filmmaker Chris Marker.

She is currently professor of Film history at the ESCAC, and is a member of the UPF Cinema research group, where she is part of the project's work team "The visual motives in the public sphere. Production and circulation of images of power in Spain, 2011-2017 "(MOVEP), financed by the Ministry of Economy and Business.

She is a scriptwriter and producer of the documentary Pasaia Bitartean (Irati Gorostidi, 2016), projected at the Seville European Film Festival, in Margins and in the Anthology Film Archives in New York, among others. She has published several articles in academic journals and other specialized in the cinematographic field and is editor in the Web Transit: cinema and other detours.
