"Caravela: dale historia a tu ropa"
As promote a model of collaborative consumption through new advertising trends.
The main goal of this project is to give to know Caravela. To get it real, I will use one of the most used mechanisms to transmit messages over society: advertising. This discipline has evolved over the years: it was born as a result of oral demonstrations and has evolved until today, being present in different means of communication such as television, cinema, radio and another one that during the last decade has gained popularity and prominence: Internet. Therefore, this project will consist to create the corporate image of Caravela and its promotion through a communication campaign according to their needs using the newest advertising trends or in other words, through online advertising.
Caravela is a project of Cassandra Viegas, which is in startup phase. This is defined as a community outside the large textile industries that offers an alternative to the capitalist consumption. It works through existing resources, facilitating the restoration and clothing exchange, making people aware that clothes are not a single-use product. In fact, Caravela is based on one kind of consumption called collaborative consumption. This aims to promote sustainable and responsible consumption, enhancing workplace policies such as exchange and sale of second hand clothes.
