Premiere of the scenic montages of the Degree in Performing Arts

Xicu Masó, Sílvia Escuder, Llàtzer Garcia, María García Vera, Jordi Duran and Juan Miranda are the directors of the plays, which are part of the subject named "Stage Creative Project" of the Degree in Performing Arts.

ERAM offers the only official university study of Catalonia in the field of the performing arts, and one of the two in the whole Spanish State.

The students of the Degree in Performing Arts of the ERAM face the end of the course with a series of theatrical montages that have the collaboration of well-known professionals of the scene.

Thus, the Theatre of Salt will be able to see, on June 6th and 7th, "Motius personals", a generational portrait, under the direction of Xicu Masó, formed by the reflections of the students, a response to the social incomprehension. On June 10th, "La malaltia de la joventut" by Ferdinand Bruckner will premiere at the Center of Performing Arts of Salt El Canal, with the direction of Sílvia Escuder, which reflects the spirit of the years after the First World War in Vienna in the microcosm of a house of students of Medicine. For his part, Llàtzer Garcia has adapted and directed a version of "La nostra ciutat" by Thronton Wilder, a choral work on the passage of time and a striking reflection on the consciousness of living, which can also be seen on El Canal on June 17th and 18th.

All these plays belong to the first course of the Degree in Performing Arts and are encompassed within the subjects called "Stage Creative Project", teaching instruments in which students learn the different facets of the stage act.

For what it does to the second course of the degree, the Theatre of Salt will premiere, on June 13th and 14th, a musical spectacle of creation with texts of Angèlica Lidell, Itxaso Corral and the same students, under the direction of María García Vera: W.I.T.C.H. (Conspiracy Telluric International of the Women from Hell), in which thirteen women summon us to a secret concert to question the future, the revolution of gender and themselves.

The Theatre of Bescanó will host on June 19th and 20th, Magadan, directed by Jordi Duran, which combines songs that make history and meals that take us to childhood and other continents. And finally, "Rojo azulado casi negro", directed by Juan Miranda, which breaks down the passions, desires and colors of the universe of Pedro Almodóvar, will be presented at the Center of Performing Arts El Canal on the 21st and 22nd of June.

These three assemblies have a fundamental musical component that is part of the curricular itinerary of the degree.
