José Luis Corazón Ardura inaugurates a cycle dedicated to Román Gubern

Román Gubern is a prestigious writer and historian specializing in film and audiovisual culture.

The work of Román Gubern (Barcelona, 1934) occupies a place of exception for the development of the theory of the image and audiovisual studies from the Seventies to today, both in the international context and in the Spanish field.

This cycle aims to pay homage to the trajectory of Román Gubern during three sessions that affect some of the main axes that travel through his bibliographical production, by means of the testimony of artists, writers, filmmakers and historians with Practices that, in some way, share a certain bibliographic and intellectual genealogy.

José Luis Corazón Ardura, curator of the cycle, is professor of the degree in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia where he teaches the subject of aesthetics and art theory.
